Now that the rift with Dagruel was settled, an unexpected intruder appeared. A blue-haired, incredibly beautiful woman entered the space without regard for the "rainbow-colored darkness." It was Velgrynd, a symbol of fear to Veldora.

"I guess it's settled. Now let's talk about the next challenge," Velgrynd announced.

"Hey, hey, sister!" Veldora exclaimed, surprised.

"Don't be surprised at all. But Milim has attacked Heaven's Tower."

"What? Sister, what?" The information shocked Veldora and the others. Dagruel, in particular, was immensely upset. Near Heaven's Tower, their relatives were taking refuge. Most of them were women and children, entrusted with the future, and they would struggle to cope with an attack on Heaven's Tower.

"Don't lie to me, Velgrynd!" Fenn was the most surprised.

Feldway's operation had never mentioned anything like that.

"It's true," Velgrynd stated plainly.

Fenn was flustered. "Why? I thought we agreed not to touch that place! Why did you...?"

"We weren't supposed to interfere, but Feldway kept quiet to avoid arousing suspicion. I don't know what Feldway is thinking," Velgrynd replied.

"Fuck you!" Fenn shouted.

"Shut up, you idiot. You knew Feldway was going to destroy the Sacred Tree, didn't you? Then, you could have predicted that Heaven's Tower would be in the way, couldn't you?" Velgrynd retorted.

Fenn was silenced by the truth in Velgrynd's words. Only a few could read that far ahead, but it was just lame to admit it.

Velgrynd had expected it. That was why she helped Souei evacuate the residents of "Holy Void" Damargania and protected them. So, for now, everyone was safe.

"The outer wall of Heaven's Tower withstood Milim's Drago Nova, thanks to my 'Star Barrier.' We managed to hold them off," Velgrynd explained.

Dagruel and the others were relieved. "Oh my God... you saved us?"

"Yes. Rimuru has helped us a lot, so we're very grateful," Velgrynd replied, returning to the topic.

"They've probably broken down the gate. Here comes the great evil..." Velgrynd continued, grimly mentioning Ivarage, the World-destroying Dragon.

"So we were really just bait..." Fenn realized.

The Dagruels guarding Heaven's Tower were gone, making things easier. Fenn had to admit this.

"So, why did you come here to tell us that?" Fenn asked.

Velgrynd took a cold glance at Fenn. "Nothing. I don't want anything from you. It's Luminas I want to talk to about my problems, and your brother too."

Veldora became suspicious but was ignored.

"So, as soon as this darkness clears, you will go to the Sacred Tree?" Veldora asked.

"Yes, that's right. Feldway's going to make Milim destroy the Sacred Tree. He failed once but hasn't given up. Now that he has controlled Milim again, Feldway has no reason to stop," Velgrynd replied.

"He really wants to destroy this planet, doesn't he?" Veldora remarked.

"I'm sure he does. Well, I'll try to stop him," Velgrynd smiled grimly, knowing the difficulty.

Even if it seemed impossible, Velgrynd would keep struggling until the end, as she had learned from the battle with Rimuru and the others.

"So, what are you going to do with Luminas?" Veldora asked.

"Accept refugees. Damargania will be the front line of the Holy Void, and we must evacuate them, or they will perish," Velgrynd explained.

It was a reasonable opinion. Everyone agreed, and Dagruel and the others thanked her from the bottom of their hearts.

The rainbow-colored darkness lifted, revealing a transformed landscape. The wilderness spread out, and the Desert of Death stretched into a vast expanse of green. Grass and trees grew at a tremendous rate, creating fertile soil. The effect of the mysterious fertility wave (Fertile Paradox) was spreading, forming a vast forest area as large as the Great Jura Forest.

The problem was the Holy City. Perhaps due to the use of magicule, even the buildings were buried under the trees. Stone foundations and wooden walls, made of materials containing magicule, were affected by Veldora's power.

"Wait, did I overdo it a little?" Veldora thought, but it was too late. The transformation was even more dramatic than intended. It seemed Luminas was going to be angry now.

Indeed, Luminas, with a very nice smile on her face, approached Veldora, who was looking anxiously at her. "So, Veldora. You're going to explain what's going on, aren't you?" Luminas asked with a clear blue streak on her forehead hidden by her beautiful silver hair. She smiled, but her eyes did not.

Veldora immediately felt the danger. (No, that's impossible! It was supposed to be a perfect plan to clear my name!)

The plan was to save Luminas from the crisis and make her and Dagruel's territories fertile. But now, things seemed suspicious. With Velgrynd behind her, the situation was very difficult. Veldora had no choice but to rethink his position.

"No, no, Luminas. Well, let me see... there is a reason deeper than the sea for this... well, I'd like to explain it to you thoroughly, but I'm too busy. So, we'll talk later!" Veldora said hastily and took to the sky, leaving the land faster than when he was fighting Dagruel.
