Shion swung her sword with a clear mind and quick reflexes. Despite this, she couldn't reach Dagruel, who deflected all of Shion's strikes with his bare hands.
“Wow, so many blows and yet no damage,” Dagruel remarked genuinely. His body, hardened with the power of ‘destruction of all things,’ made the compliment sincere.
“Of course! My beloved sword was given to me by Rimuru-sama. I love it so much that it is now like a part of my body!” Shion replied. She polished the sword daily, infusing it with her demonic energy. It had become an extension of her, reaching the mythical-grade of "Hercules Deluxe," which is why it remained unbroken in the Suspended World, allowing Shion to survive Dagruel's destructive power.
Dagruel was a phenomenon, possessing powers equivalent to Ultimate Skills, such as Hardening Transformation, Destruction of All Things, Magic Nullification, Attribute Neutralization, and Quake Wave. He was known as the “Continent’s Wrath.” Normally, Shion stood no chance against him. Dagruel transcended both physics and magic, making close combat a suicidal move. However, Shion adapted, using her Unique Skill ‘Cook’ to produce the results she desired, constantly optimizing herself.
Shion emulated Dagruel, trying to incorporate his powers. “I don’t believe it. You think you’re as good as me with that kind of power?” Dagruel was amazed. Shion’s Unique Skill ‘Cook’ allowed her to hold her own, even with a significant energy disparity.
Despite the fierce battle, Shion’s imitation couldn't match the real thing. But her luck hadn’t run out yet. Veldora was present, ready to intervene.
“Hm, it’s about time for my...” Veldora began, but a hand touched him, causing a sudden weakness. “Gaaaaww!” Veldora’s panicked gaze fell on Luminas, who was recovering from wounds.
Luminas, absorbing Veldora’s vitality, spat, “Hmph! I’ll be punished for being late!” Her blood color improved as she regained strength and her clothes regenerated. “You just stand there and watch.”
With Veldora out of the way, Luminas joined Shion in the fight against Dagruel. Ultima was also ready. “I can’t lose to Shion-san. Don’t forget about me!” Known for her rapid growth, Ultima had mastered the "information particle," fighting more freely than in the real world.
Dagruel, seeing the new arrivals, lamented, “Oh dear, we’ve lost our advantage!” The Suspended World was now a hindrance against Shion, so Dagruel canceled it.
