After this roar and the corruption energy leaked out from the dot, it started to take different forms.

It was different from the normal corruption energy monsters.

These things seemed to take forms that were recognizable.

But since we could recognize them, we couldn’t help knitting our brows when we saw them.

After all, they were a bit too familiar...

"Is that you?" Rose couldn’t help asking me as she pointed at one of the corruption energy figures that Dorothy summoned.

Even though this was a thing that was created with corruption energy, the corruption energy didn’t hide their appearance like with all other corruption energy beings that we’ve seen before.

This time, it seemed like the corruption energy was even moving so that it would form their appearance.

It was as if the corruption energy was moving to give them a proper appearance.

That was why it was disturbing that they took the form of not just me, but also Rose and my other wives. There were also some non human figures as well that took the form of a wolf and a lizard...or rather a dragon.

All of the figures that the corruption energy took the form of were things that Dorothy was familiar with. It was almost as if they were directly drawing their forms from her memories.

Still, that didn’t really mean anything since they were figures that were created from corruption energy.

Since they were things that were created from corruption energy, that meant that there was no need to hold back at all. Especially since they had been created to protect the black dot that we were trying to get rid of.

A single wave of my hand was all that it took to create icicles that were aimed at these figures.

The strange thing was that when the corruption energy figure of me saw this, it did the same thing and gathered corruption energy icicles in the air.

It seemed like it was a copy of me that could even copy the way that I fight.

This was most likely something that it had stolen from Dorothy’s memories, but that didn’t mean a single thing since this corruption energy figure of me was nothing more than a copy.

There was no way that it would be able to overpower me.

The corruption energy icicles were pierced right through by my divine energy icicles.

There wasn’t any resistance at all as the divine energy icicles continued to hit all of the corruption energy figures that had been created.

None of the corruption energy figures could resist the icicles piercing through them, so they all popped like balloons the moment that they were hit.

However, it didn’t seem like that mattered as more and more corruption energy was coming out of the black dot that was on Dorothy’s neck. It seemed that at this rate, there would be more and more of these corruption energy figures coming out of her.

It really didn’t seem like there was an end to the corruption energy that could come out of her.

But then again, I remembered what Max had written in the report.

This black dot seemed to be connected to something and if it was connected to something, then it was most likely connected to the source of the corruption energy.

After all, that was what wanted to take Dorothy away.

But even if I were to gather more divine energy to take down all of these corruption energy figures, it wasn’t as if this would guarantee that we would be able to help her with whatever was currently happening to her.

That was why I turned to look at Max.

Max had a dazed look on his face as he stared at Dorothy, as if he was trying to figure out what was happening to her.

That was why I said, "What do I do now?"

Max didn’t answer right away as he continued observing what was happening with Dorothy.

But then he suddenly said, "Increase the amount of divine energy going into it. It’s fighting back, so we just have to increase the amount of divine energy that will be negating the corruption energy."

I couldn’t help looking at him with a gaze filled with doubt at first, but it really didn’t seem like there was a better idea.

In that case...since the device was still sticking out of Dorothy’s neck...

Creating a barrier of ice around me, I pushed forward towards the corruption energy figures all around Dorothy.

When I approached, they all looked at me as if I was the main enemy that they wanted to focus on. I didn’t think that this was strange since I knew that they could sense the divine energy around me.

Divine energy was the nemesis of these corruption energy beings in the first place, so it was only natural that they would see me as a threat.

It was a good thing that they weren’t that strong since they were formed from the corruption energy that leaked out of Dorothy.

There wasn’t enough of it to make them strong enough that I would struggle against them.

That was why I was able to suppress all of them and make it to Dorothy’s side.

I could see that she was struggling against this mark that was going on a rampage.

So I brought my hand to the device that was on her neck and injected my divine energy into it.

I soon realized that this was a mistake as Dorothy suddenly collapsed.

It was as if there was something that suddenly hit her system that made her lose consciousness like this. And the only thing that had hit her system all of a sudden was the divine energy that I just injected.

"What is wrong with her?" I asked Max right away.

But he wasn’t the one that answered.

"I never thought that I would see something like this. Who would have thought that before we did anything to her, you would be the ones that would harm her like this?"
