The royal guards arrived, but they weren’t as relaxed as one might think.

The moment that they arrived, they all had their guards up as if they were ready for a fight.

After all, they didn’t think that I would be calling them for something as simple as tasting dishes. They had assumed that I had called for them because I was in some kind of trouble.

That was why they were all taken aback when I said, "I just called you here to taste some dishes for me."

Klein was the one that stepped forward first in the end as he said, "I’ll do the poison testing for you, your majesty."

I couldn’t help shaking my head when I heard this before saying, "There’s no need for you to do anything like that. I just wanted you to have a taste of these dishes that were made during the cooking tournament."

The royal guards were all caught off guard again when they heard this.

Klein had a confused look on his face when he heard this before looking down at his hands as if he was trying to figure out what I was talking about. Though it didn’t seem like he was able to figure it out as he just stared blankly at his hands.

So in the end, I said, "Bring out your weapon and swing it a few times."

Klein was confused why I said this, but he still followed my orders and brought it out.

The moment that he swung his sword, my expression changed.

The royal guards around me still had confused looks since they couldn’t sense what I was sensing, but I knew that I hadn’t made a mistake. The moment that the sword swung down, I could sense the flow of energy.

Those that cooked with divine energy would be able to create this one time use buff that would allow those that ate it to utilize divine energy.

So if there were more of these dishes that were created...
