"Have you heard about the tournaments?"

"Who hasn’t heard about them? They’re the biggest thing happening right now."

"But do you think that they’ll really hold all those tournaments? Especially those tournaments for those other fields."

"Who knows? But this is something that is backed by the racial alliance, so as long as one is able to show off in the tournament, their future should be guaranteed."

The news of the tournaments being held by the Kite Kingdom, but backed by the racial alliance spread across the continent in an instant.

Since this was something that the racial alliance worked together on, it was only natural that they would use all of their news networks to spread it. That meant that in a single day, this piece of news had reached all the corners of the continent.

The only way to describe this was big news.

So as soon as this news spread, everyone immediately started making their way to the Kite Kingdom where this tournament was being held. It didn’t matter if they had confidence in their abilities or not, everyone chose to go because this was an opportunity for them.

Even if they weren’t able to show off in the end, it would still be a place where anything could happen.

This could be considered a once in a lifetime chance for many people.

With how many people were heading to the Kite Kingdom, it would have normally caused a very large commotion and a very large mess. After all, with how many people were leaving their usual places, it would place a large burden on many different systems.

But the collapse that one would have expected didn’t happen in the end.

Rather, it seemed like everything went very smoothly even with this increased volume.

The racial alliance had backed the Kite Kingdom as they agreed on.

With the racial alliance moving all of their resources like this, it wasn’t hard for them to fix this problem. The racial alliance was a gathering of all the different races of the continent, so the resource that they possessed could be considered all of the resources on the continent.

With that, it was hard not to solve this problem.

It really was quite the sight seeing everyone traveling to the Kite Kingdom.

If this wasn’t known, one would have thought that this was some kind of mass migration.

Though everything went smoothly, there was another thing that the residents of the continent worried about.

Since the war against the force of Destruction had been happening for a while now and there were clear signs of this fight, it was impossible to hide all of this from the populace.

Many people already knew about the forces of Destruction and the dangers that they posed, there were even warnings that their governments gave them to make sure that they didn’t do anything reckless.

As such, there were people that were worried about what would happen if everyone gathered for the tournament.

But this worry was relieved by the fact that the racial alliance announced their plans to deploy their forces to the different parts of the continent. So even if something happened, they would be able to respond in an instant.

When everyone heard this, they realized that this was even more serious than they thought.

After all, they were committing this much to protecting the continent and hosting this tournament. It wasn’t hard to guess just what the racial alliance was planning by doing all of this.

So in the end, there were even more people that went to the tournament.

This was what the racial alliance wanted to see after all, so they committed even more resources to this.

It seemed that as more and more time passed, this event was getting bigger and bigger.

"I never thought that it would become such a big deal." I couldn’t help saying as I read the reports that had been placed in front of me.

The prime minister just said with a smile that didn’t reach his eyes, "You’re the one that wanted to host this, so you’ll have to take responsibility for this and take care of all the work."

Right after he said this, he waved his hand at his subordinates who were coming in and they placed another pile of reports on my desk.

But I could see from the notes on the reports that he had already looked over them and marked things off for me. Even though he acted this way, he was still taking care of all the things that I needed his help with.

I knew that he wasn’t doing this just because he was helping me.

I knew that both him and the chancellor knew why I was doing this, so they took this very seriously and made sure that everything was prepared.

I was naturally grateful towards them for doing all of this and I didn’t complain as I took the reports.

It was just that there were a few things that I had to ask, "Do you think that there will be enough space with how many people are coming? We’ve been building as much as we could, but it isn’t as if we’ve been able to expand enough to handle all of this."

The prime minister just shook his head and said, "It seems like you’re really behind on the details. If you were here, you would have known about all of this."

He took another report and placed it in front of me.

When I read this report, I realized that he was right about this.

It seemed like the information that I had was about the past Kite Kingdom and the current Kite Kingdom was completely different.

During the time that I had been away, they really had been busy developing the Kite Kingdom.

"You’ve worked hard." I said to the two of them.

They once again revealed smiles that didn’t reach their eyes as the prime minister said, "And you’ll have to work hard as well."

I gave a nod without saying anything else.

I certainly wasn’t going to argue since this was my plan in the first place.
