"Your majesty, you’re back?"

That was what the royal guards said the moment that I appeared in front of them.

The way that they said this was as if they couldn’t believe that I would come back.

After all, I had done all of that just to run away from them and had hidden out of sight the entire time. So for me to suddenly show myself like this really seemed like I had a change of heart.

It was as if I had turned into a different person.

But I just gave a nod before saying, "Help me gather everyone. There’s something that I want to discuss with them all."

The royal guards were caught off guard when they heard this, but they still went to follow my orders since they could hear the tone that was in my voice. When they heard this commanding tone, they knew that I was serious about this.

So it didn’t take long for everyone to gather.

The prime minister and the chancellor were the ones that arrived first since they were the ones that would be closest. They were the ones that remained behind to run the Kite Kingdom after all, so it was only natural that they would arrive first.

The first thing that they did was look at me as if there was something that they had to say, but they held themselves back in the end.

With how they held themselves back, it was as if they thought that there was someone else better suited for saying these things to me.

It didn’t take long for those people to arrive.

The moment that they came in, they immediately glared at me.

I knew exactly why they were glaring at me, but I looked right back at them since this wasn’t the time for this.

They couldn’t help being caught off guard when they saw this, but it didn’t seem like they were about to back down either.

That was until I said, "I have something important to say."

Everyone in the room looked surprised at first before suddenly knitting their brows.

Rose then suddenly said, "Sweetie, you can go and have some treats first. None of this is your fault, he’s the one that dragged you along."

The one that she said this to was Dorothy who had been sitting silently on the side.

However, Dorothy shook her head when Rose said this and remained where she was sitting.

Rose looked like she was about to say something else, but I spoke before she could.

"This is a matter that involves her, so she needs to stay here."

Rose narrowed her eyes to look at me after I said this, but I just calmly looked right back at her.

So in the end, she said, "Explain yourself."

I didn’t actually explain it, I just pointed at Max on the side and said, "He’ll tell you everything there is to know about her condition."

Max didn’t seem like he was happy to be in this place, but he did recognize that this was a chance to talk about his research. For someone that was obsessed with research like him, he naturally didn’t hold back at all as he started telling everyone about what he had discovered about Dorothy.

"Get to the main point." Rose said in a cold voice when Max started to digress.

He didn’t seem happy that he was being rushed like this, but it also didn’t seem like he could do anything against the aura that Rose was releasing.

So in the end, he quickly explained the few things that he discovered about Dorothy’s body.

When it was over, the first thing that Rose did was come to Dorothy’s side and hold her shoulders before asking, "Are you alright?"

Dorothy was caught off guard by Rose doing this all of sudden, but she moved forward to hug Rose before saying, "I’m fine, mom."

Rose didn’t say anything, but the look on her face made it clear what she was thinking.

When she was done looking at Dorothy, she looked at me.

The look on her face was as if she was blaming me for something, but it also didn’t seem like she knew exactly what to blame me for.

So in the end, all she could do was look at me with this look.

But it seemed like she wasn’t afraid of Dorothy even after hearing what she was capable of. She was just like me in that we had both completely accepted Dorothy as ours after adopting her.

This was one of the things that I had been worried about, but it seemed like I had been worried about nothing.

Rose was just like I thought she was.

Once we were done explaining what Dorothy’s situation was, the prime minister suddenly asked, "Then if they were to discover her abilities, which should happen eventually, does that mean that they will..."

He didn’t finish his sentence, but what he was implying was already very clear.

I looked at him and gave a slight nod before saying, "It’s very possible."

The prime minister wasn’t the only one that revealed a deep frown before turning to look at Dorothy with a strange look.

Rose hugged Dorothy tighter before glaring at the prime minister when he did this which made him reveal an awkward look. Then he revealed a look as if he was saying that this would be the last choice.

I could see what he was thinking of as well, so I said, "That’s why I came back this time. But to accomplish this, there’s something that I need everyone’s help with. This will be a big thing that will require the entire racial alliance to come together."

Everyone was surprised at first, but then they looked at me as if they thought that it was only natural that I had thought of something already.

But they certainly didn’t expect what I said next.

"I want to host something that will involve the entire continent."
