"The first thing that I have to share is my true identity."

When the two of them heard who I really was, there were shocked looks that appeared on their faces.

Even though they were commoners in a small kingdom like this, my reputation had reached a point where even they had heard of me. At the same time, the way that they looked at me showed that they had long heard about my accomplishments.

If possible, I would have liked to keep this a secret, but I knew that would have been impossible.

After all, it would be hard to convince them of what I wanted to convince them of next if I hid my identity.

Once they had come back from their shock, I said, "I was just passing by, but I noticed that your daughter has a special constitution that would be helpful to the racial alliance."

The moment that Amelia heard this, she looked at me with a wary look and raised her hand as if she wanted to protect Olivia.

But Olivia on the other hand seemed a bit excited to hear this.

The look on her face was the look that a kid would have when they were told that they had some kind of special power. Though I had to make sure that she understood what this really meant.

It wasn't as if excitement alone would be enough to keep her going.

"I know that this is a lot to take in, but I want to test something before we keep going."

I didn't say anything else as I waited for a response from Amelia.

She was still looking at me with a wary look, but it didn't seem like she doubted me.

After all, what had happened wasn't something that just anyone could have done.

She already knew that I was a noble, but she never knew just what kind of noble I was.

But thinking about it, the identity that I claimed to have would have enough power to do something like this. At the same time, it explained quite a few of the holes in the story that she had been doubtful about.

Still, this was a matter that involved her daughter.

As a mother, it was only natural that she wouldn't want to put her daughter in any danger.

So it was only natural that she wouldn't want Olivia to be involved in this.

However, Olivia held Amelia's arm and said, "Mom, I want to do this."

Amelia looked like she wanted to say something, but then she swallowed those words when she saw the way that Olivia was looking at her.

The look in Olivia's eyes wasn't that she was doing this just for fun.

The look in her eyes showed that she was serious about this.

So in the end, Amelia gave a nod and waited to see what happened.

When they finally came to this agreement, that was when I took out this crystal that I put on the table before saying, "Take it."

Olivia looked at me with a confused look, but I just waited for her to take the crystal.

After taking the crystal, it didn't seem like anything was going to happen

Olivia looked at me with an even more confused look as she asked, "What am I supposed to do?"

"If you will it, it will happen." I said in a cryptic manner that seemed to make her even more confused.

Olivia didn't do anything at first as she didn't really know what she was supposed to do.

But eventually, she gripped the crystal and closed her eyes as if she was concentrating hard.

Even then, it didn't seem like there was a reaction coming from the crystal.

Amelia looked at the crystal as if she was worried about Olivia, but there was no hiding the trace of relief that was in her eyes. She clearly didn't want the crystal to respond to Olivia which was why she felt this relief.

If the crystal did respond, it would mean that Olivia had this special power and would be drafted into the fight.

So she was naturally relieved not to see this.

Though from time to time, I could see her glaring at me as if she was blaming me for leading her daughter on like this.

I just kept a straight look on my face as I waited for something to happen.

After a while, it seemed like Olivia still wasn't able to get anything out of the crystal and it seemed like she had finally given up.

She looked at me with an aggrieved look before saying, "What was the point of that?"

"It was a test of your willpower and if you can't do it, then I can't say anything. I can give you a bit longer if you want, but if you want to give up, that is fine too. It just means that this is the extent of your willpower."

I didn't say anything else since this was also an experiment for me.

Olivia didn't seem happy with what I said.

The way that she looked at me was as if she was angry since I had told her that she had powers one second and then took this back the next.

It seemed that she was determined to go through with this in the end.

Though before she focused on the crystal once more, she looked back at Amelia who was still looking at her with a concerned look.

After looking at Amelia, it seemed like there was something that changed with Olivia.

When she gripped the crystal this time, there was a faint light that came from it in response to the willpower that Olivia demonstrated.

Amelia looked relieved, but also a bit disappointed when she saw this.

Olivia also seemed relieved before asking, "What was the point of that?"

I just simply said, "Like I said, it was a test of your willpower."

But seeing that she wasn't happy with this answer, I added, "It was also a test of your ability to control divine energy which will be your weapon in the future."
