It seemed that whoever was controlling these fireballs, they weren’t planning on letting them escape at all. The only thing that they were planning to do was move them away from the boss of the Orca Gang so that they wouldn’t die on the spot.

When the boss of the Orca Gang was isolated like this, he knew that there was nothing that he could do.

In his desperation, he suddenly slashed out at the fireball that was in front of him.

When he did, he found that his blade actually extinguished it after cutting through it.

So all that they could do was ask the person who was responsible for these fireballs to spare them.

He believed that they had to be created with some kind of magic item, which was why they didn’t follow him when he left that room.

Whoever was using that magic item, he didn’t believe that he would be able to face the baron’s forces.

Once the boss of the Orca Gang left, there was only silence that filled the air.

The thugs that had been begging for their lives knew that there was nothing to gain from begging anymore. They just knew that the fireballs didn’t seem to be approaching them.

Everyone that was here was caught off guard seeing this figure, but the one that was the most shocked was Amelia’s husband.

"Why is it you?!" He said in a shocked voice.

But the moment that he spoke, the only thing that he got was a slap across the face.

"You’re too loud." I said after slapping him on the face.

Amelia’s husband just remained there in a daze as if he couldn’t believe what happened.

But at the same time, he was holding it all back as he wanted to cry from the pain of being slapped like this.

"What are you doing here?" Amelia asked after a long silence.

I looked at her and said, "Well, I didn’t plan on meeting like this. I was planning on taking care of them and then leaving, but it seemed like you were unlucky enough to be caught up in all of this."

Turning to look at her husband, I said with a sigh, "It seems like you really were wrong about him."

Amelia revealed a strange look when she heard this before she looked at me as if she wasn’t happy with what I said.

I didn’t bother with her as I looked at the thugs that had been silent on the side.

Looking at them, I narrowed my eyes and said, "You’ll cooperate with me, won’t you?"

The thugs looked at each other before turning back to slowly nod in agreement.

After all, their lives were in the hands of the person in front of them.

Even if they didn’t want to go along with whatever he was planning, it wasn’t as if he was giving them a choice.

So the only smart thing to do now was to nod in agreement.

"Alright, with this, I’ll be able to take them all down in one fell swoop. I won’t leave any loose ends like this, so there shouldn’t be any problems."
