As soon as the flames came out of the ground, all of the thugs immediately jumped back in fear.

They had looks of shock and disbelief on their faces as they couldn’t understand how this flame wall had suddenly appeared in front of them like this.

But they could feel the heat that was coming from these flames and knew that these flames were real.

So they didn’t want to get too close to it.

"Who is it?" The boss was the one that broke the silence by asking this question.

While he asked this question, he pushed Amelia’s husband aside and grabbed the large blade that was on the side. It seemed like he was already certain that whoever it was that had created this wall of flames was an enemy.

The only reason that he had asked this was to find that person and deal with them.

"Isn’t it a bit wrong to surround a lady like this? You shouldn’t be rude to a lady."

When this voice cut through the air, all of them looked around to find the source of this voice.

But they just couldn’t find it in the end.

The voice seemed to be coming from all around them with the way that it echoed through the air. There was even a part of this voice that seemed to be coming from inside of their brains.

That was just how strange this voice was.

"Do you really think that you can get away with this? Do you know who you’re messing with?" The boss said in a threatening voice.

"Who am I messing with?" That unknown voice seemed to not have a single care in it as it said this.

"You dare to talk down to our Orca Gang!" The boss seemed triggered by these words.

It seemed that this boss had quite a bit of pride in the group that he led, so when someone talked down to him like this...

Well, it really hit his pride and he couldn’t take it.

"Call everyone! We’ll find the one causing trouble and kill them!" The boss roared at his subordinates.

Even though he had lost his temper, it wasn’t as if he had lost his mind.

He knew that the other side was powerful if they were able to create flames out of thin air like this. The only ones that could do this was a magician and there was no magician that was simple.

He wouldn’t underestimate the other side.

"I don’t think that there will be anyone out there to help you. You can call them, but they won’t be able to come help since they’re a bit occupied right now."

"What did you do?" The boss said through gritted teeth.

When the voice didn’t respond, the boss sent one of his subordinates to check on what happened.

"Boss, they’re all gone..." That subordinate said when he opened the door to the other room.

"What do you mean?" The boss said again through gritted teeth.

"Boss, everyone is missing..." A tremble filled the subordinate’s voice when he said this. After all, he could see that there wasn’t a single person that was there in their hideout when it should have been packed with people.

It was as if everyone had suddenly gone missing...

"What did you do?" The boss said in an angry voice, but there was a trace of anxiety that was coming through. Even though the boss wanted to act like he wasn’t scared, it seemed that he was being affected by what was happening.

It wasn’t strange since this was just too out there for him.

This was something that the boss of the Orca Gang had never experienced before, so it was only natural that he wouldn’t know how to deal with it.

"Well, they’re all taking a little nap right now. There’s nothing that you really have to worry about, since you’ll be joining them soon. Though I would make sure to get your affairs in order since you’ll be disappearing for a long time after this." The voice said in a teasing tone.

"You!" The boss of the Orca Gang seemed even more enraged when he heard this.

After all, it was clear that the other side was looking down on the Orca Gang that he had spent all these years building.

The Orca Gang was something that he had worked hard to build and he wouldn’t let anyone look down on it.

Especially since it held quite a bit of power in this town.

"Do you really think that you’re that powerful? Even if you’re a magician, do you think that you can go against the entire kingdom? We have connections that are much higher than you can possibly imagine." The boss of the Orca Gang said in the same threatening voice.

"Oh, who is it?"

When the teasing voice rang out, the boss of the Orca Gang didn’t hold back at all.

It seemed that he had completely lost his temper with the one that was speaking as he said, "The baron who rules over this town himself! Do you really think that you can go against a noble?"

"Hmm, so it seems like the corruption runs quite deep here. In that case, I really shouldn’t waste any more time with this piece of trash."

It wasn’t just the boss of the Orca Gang that was caught off guard by this change in tone. The rest of the Orca Gang looked like rats that were caught in a trap as they realized something.

"We’ve been tricked..."

That was the only thing that they could think after hearing this.

But before they could say anything, they found that there were flames that appeared all around them.

Feeling the heat, they wanted to move away from the flames. The problem with this was that the flames were literally all around them and there wasn’t a single place for them to go.

Since they were completely surrounded, they could only cower in the little space that they had.
