Everyone was focused on the corruption energy monsters, so none of them were really paying any attention to me.

That was how I was able to take one of the corruption energy samples and move to the side.

What I was about to test required the corruption energy sample, which was why I took it with me like this.

When I came to the side, I made sure that no one was around to see what I was about to do. Only when I made sure that there was no one around looking at me, that was when I suddenly opened the corruption energy sample.

One might think that I was crazy for doing this, but I knew what I was doing.

As soon as the corruption energy sample was released, the first thing that it did was try to escape.

Only the moment that this happened, there was a small ball of ice that appeared around it.

This ice that was formed wasn’t just any normal ice, but rather special ice that had been created with divine energy. So the corruption energy could tell that there was something that threatened it that was around it.

Once the corruption energy was trapped inside of this divine energy ice, it didn’t try to do anything else.

After all, the only thing that it could do now was obediently remain inside of the ice if it didn’t want to be purified.

However, that was also the reason why I had released it and summoned this ice.

Only I didn’t plan on using the divine energy that was borrowed to do so, I was planning on using my own divine energy to do this.

Once the corruption energy settled, I didn’t bother paying attention to it.

Instead, I focused on the corruption energy that was inside of myself as I drew on its power.

While focusing on it, I was able to draw just that divine energy out by itself.

Normally I would be using this divine energy to empower the divine energy that I borrowed from the gods. But this time, I was using the divine energy on its own.

Since it was all on its own, it was weaker than the divine energy that came from the gods.

In fact, it felt like it didn’t even have a tenth of the power that the divine energy that I borrowed had.

But with this divine energy, I pushed it into the ice ball through holes that I created. Of course, I made sure to close the holes that were created before the corruption energy that was trapped inside could do anything.

So the corruption energy was trapped inside with the divine energy that I released.

The corruption energy seemed to become agitated because of this as it started to shake.

Eventually, it even slammed up against the ice ball as if it was afraid of the divine energy that I released. Even though the divine energy that I released was weaker than the divine energy that the ice ball contained.

"Is it really that terrifying?" I couldn’t help asking myself when I saw the corruption energy acting like this.

Still, I sent my divine energy forward to make contact with the corruption energy.

The moment that it did, I couldn’t help revealing a very strange look.

After observing it for a while, I finally made up my mind and started directing my divine energy to purify the corruption energy.

When it was all over, there was a single ball of wood that was left inside of the ball of ice.

But there was a shocked look that was on my face when I saw this.

I took another one of the corruption energy samples that I snuck out and started using the same process on it as well.

After it was over, there was a ball of metal that was left inside of the ball of ice.

As for where this ball of wood and ball of metal came from...

"I really can create things by purifying the corruption energy? This is a power that only a god should have..." I couldn’t help muttering to myself.

This ball of wood and ball of metal came from me purifying the corruption energy samples that I used for my experiments.

The moment that my divine energy made contact with the corruption energy, it felt like I could change it into whatever I wanted. Though I knew that there was a limit based on the materials that were broken down in the corruption energy.

There was a limit to the size of the thing that I could create by purifying the corruption energy.

Other than that, it didn’t seem like there was a limit to what I could do.

After all, it felt like I could change the corruption energy into any kind of material that I wanted.

The more that I looked at the two balls of different materials in my hand, the more that I realized that there was something different about the divine energy that I possessed. This kind of divine energy clearly wasn’t normal and I had been avoiding the one possibility that I had come up with before.

But now, it seemed like that was the only possibility...

"Is it really the divine energy of the God of Creation? Am I a demigod of Creation?"

If the God of Creation found out about this, then I couldn’t even begin to imagine what they would do to me...

Or perhaps the God of Creation already knew about this since it was them who gave me this divine energy in the first place.

Perhaps I was being used by the God of Creation for something that was far bigger than myself...

None of the thoughts that came to mind after this were good.

"I have to learn more about this power..."

Only by learning as much as I could about this would I be able to keep myself safe.

Only by learning what it was and how I could control it did I have a chance to save myself in the future.
