With a corruption energy monster as a sparring partner, it didn’t seem like there was anything else that was needed.

Well, it would have to be replaced eventually since it would reach a limit when the time came.

However, it was easy to replace since there were plenty of corruption energy samples for Dorothy to use to replace that corruption energy monster.

It didn’t seem like Dorothy cared about this corruption energy monster.

As she said, "This is a thing that is created from the bad parts of the destruction energy, so it isn’t friendly at all. This is something that should be eliminated from this world in the first place."

She was strangely adamant about this corruption energy monster being eliminated.

Though there was one thing that she said that did seem a bit strange.

"May you be reborn as something good in your next life."

I had no idea what she meant by this, but it didn’t seem like Dorothy was planning to explain.

So the only thing that I could do was think about the corruption energy on my own.

Like she said, there were good and bad parts of the corruption energy.

What she had done so far was more than enough to prove this. There was nothing that could be said that would disprove what she had shown us.

After all, the proof was right there in front of our eyes.

We could see how differently the corruption energy monsters that she created acted.

It was as if they were two completely different things.

Then since the destruction energy broke things down into their basic elements and would create something after the destruction was over, that still brought up one simple question.

"What happens to the destruction energy that is purified by divine energy?"

This was something that I asked Dorothy earlier, but she said that she didn’t know about this.

But no matter how I thought about it, it seemed like this was the one thing that was missing.

After all, it wasn’t as if the basic materials that were inside of the destruction energy would just disappear because it was purified by the divine energy.

If that was the case, then wouldn’t it bring the world closer to destruction?

If more and more of this basic material was disappearing because it was being purified by the divine energy, then that would mean that it was a matter of time before there was nothing left.

If that was the case, then that would mean that the destruction would win.

Though it certainly would be a hollow victory since even the basic building blocks would be gone.

This didn’t seem like it was something that either side wanted, so something had to happen to these things...

"Wait, why do the gods want the destruction energy in the first place? They specifically sealed those Relics of Destruction in the first place so they could draw on the destruction energy. If purifying the destruction energy destroyed these things, then they wouldn’t be doing it."

After thinking for a bit, I slowly said to myself, "Does that mean that purifying destruction energy releases those basic building materials and allows the gods to create with them?"

The moment that this idea came to mind, it really seemed like it was the only one that made sense.

But at the same time, I couldn’t help feeling strange.

It wasn’t anything that was related to the gods using the destruction energy for this purpose.

It was something that Dorothy had said earlier.

She had said that she hoped that the bad corruption energy monster would be reborn into something better in its next life.

The only reason that she would say something like this was if she knew what happened to the destruction energy after it was purified. But if she did, then that meant that she had lied to me when I asked her about it.

The more that I thought about it, the more that it seemed like there was something off about Dorothy.

It wasn’t that she was purposefully keeping things from me, it really seemed like she wasn’t certain about some of the things that she said.

It really seemed like there was something that was feeding this information into her.

After all, she spoke like there was someone else that was speaking through her from time to time. Especially when she said things that she shouldn’t have said.

Still, it didn’t seem like there was anything bad about this.

Or at the very least, it didn’t seem like she had any malice towards us and genuinely wanted to help us. That might even be the reason that she was able to form the connection with whatever she was connected to and get us this information.

So for now, I wouldn’t do anything.

For now, I would just watch over her.

Part of this was the fact that she was now my daughter after I had adopted her.

She was my daughter now, so this was the least that I should do as her father.

Once I threw this thought out of my mind, I realized that there was something different about me.

I realized that there was this sensation that was coming from inside of me, a sensation that I had never felt before. But even if I had never felt this sensation before, I already knew what it was coming from.

In fact, there was only one thing that this sensation could be coming from.

It was the divine energy that was inside of me.

It felt like there was something different about the divine energy, but it didn’t feel like it was something bad. It felt like there was some kind of new power that this divine energy had gained and was now manifesting itself.

The stronger that this sensation became, the more it felt like there was something that I was able to do now.

And I could tell that it was something that was related to the corruption energy.
