"So you didn’t get any information from him?"

This was the one question that everyone asked me when this meeting began.

Since the representatives of the racial alliance knew what I was doing, they had held this meeting right away so that I could share what I had found. The problem was that I hadn’t found a single thing after interrogating the former president of the Democratic Union.

Well, it wasn’t that I hadn’t found a single thing.

It was just that I hadn’t found a single thing that we could use.

The pieces of information that I had weren’t exactly good for us.

It wasn’t that this information was bad, it was just that it really didn’t help us in defeating the forces of Destruction.

Rather, it actually was information that would work to crush the morale of the racial alliance.

But it wasn’t as if I could keep this from everyone.

"Are you sure about this?" They all asked me with serious looks on their faces when they heard this.

I just gave a simple nod in response since there was nothing else that I could say in response to this. After all, this was a matter that had to be conveyed to them so that they were prepared.

A heavy mood filled the room as everyone suddenly gave a sigh.

The looks on their faces made it seem like they didn’t know what they were supposed to do, but that was only to be expected after they heard the information that I had for them.

"I already guessed that this was the case, but hearing it for myself really isn’t something that I wanted. In fact, it almost feels surreal to hear this all of a sudden like this..."

That was the summary of how everyone was feeling at this moment.

After a moment of silence, one of the representatives suddenly asked me, "Are you sure about this? How much stronger were they?"

When he asked this, everyone turned to look at me.

But even with all of them looking at me like this, I didn’t answer right away.

After taking a moment to gather my thoughts, I finally said, "I wouldn’t be able to defeat them if I were to use my full power. That’s how it felt to me..."

I couldn’t lie to them about this.

It wasn’t that I wanted to crush their morale, but rather I wanted to let them know what the situation was. While it did crush their morale, I believed that it would stoke something inside of them.

After a long silence, there was a change that suddenly came over everyone sitting in this room.

They had wallowed in their despair for long enough.

All of them knew that there was nothing to gain by staying in despair like this.

It was nothing more than a waste of time dreading what was to come since it wouldn’t help them.

After all, it wasn’t as if they could just give up and let the forces of Destruction win. If that were to happen, then they would lose everything since the other side was the force of Destruction.

It was even in their name, the only thing that the enemy cared about was destroying.

They just wanted to destroy the world, which was something that they couldn’t allow to happen.

So instead of dreading over what was to come, it was better for them to think of a way to deal with them.

"Everyone will need to become stronger. I hope that all of you will be able to figure out new ways to deal with the corruption energy."

That was the consensus that they all came to.

I didn’t actually have to say anything since they knew that this was what they needed to do.

In the first place, it wasn’t as if they wanted to rely on just me alone.

It was just that I was the one that was the best equipped to deal with the forces of Destruction in the first place.

But now that things had reached this point, they knew that they couldn’t rely on me alone.

It would take some time, but everyone would work on becoming stronger.

That was the only thing that any of us could do.

"Since there’s nothing else to discuss, I think that we can end things here." That was what I said once I saw that there was nothing else that anyone had to say.

It wasn’t that there wasn’t anything that they wanted to say, it was just that they didn’t have a way to say what they wanted to say. It was that they just couldn’t say it since there was something that was holding them back.

It was a matter of feeling helpless.

Once this meeting was over, I had something to do as well.

I recognized that both of the remaining members of the Four Omens were stronger than me, they wouldn’t be easy for me to deal with. So if I wanted to deal with them, I also had to become stronger.

The obvious choice was to find the third inheritance of the God of Creation and fall even deeper into the demigod hole, but it wasn’t as if that was that easy. Even if I wanted to do this, I simply had no idea where this third inheritance was.

Even if I were to search the entire continent, it wasn’t guaranteed that I would be able to find it.

It was an inheritance left by the God of Creation, so there was no doubt that there were special methods that were put in place to keep it hidden.

The only feasible method is...

"It seems like I really have to go to that place." I couldn’t help muttering to myself.

The place that I was referring to was the place that the last Spirit King was hiding.

It was the Spirit King of Wind, Sylph.

The problem was that the place that they were hiding was a place that most people wouldn’t be able to access.

Even if I could access it, it certainly wasn’t easy getting there...
